Mentorship, startup exposure, industry visits, and founder mindset programs under one student-first platform.

Where engineering curiosity becomes entrepreneurial action.

EDC HITAM helps students move from classroom ideas to practical, confident experimentation through mentorship, events, exposure visits, and a community that takes initiative seriously.

We nurture the startup mindset at the grassroots level, helping students identify problems, shape solutions, understand customers, and build the confidence to present their ideas.

The cell acts as a bridge between innovators, mentors, alumni, industry guests, and institutional support so that every student has a clearer path from spark to prototype.

About EDC HITAM

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) was established at HITAM in 2018. It operates under the HITAM Innovation and Incubation Centre (HIIC), the official incubator of HITAM, located on the first floor of the Activity Block.

EDC focuses on developing an entrepreneurial mindset among student bodies, encouraging them to design outside bounds, and validating raw engineering prototypes into viable commercial startups through customized mentorship models.
